DRW globe valves

…are easy to operate and offer a wide range of options.  Depending on the requirements of the respective application, they can be operated manually, by means of a gear mechanism or via pneumatic or electric drives.  For nominal diameters exceeding DN 400 or for higher pressure stages, we recommend operation by means of a gear mechanism and a hand wheel.  The gear mechanism makes operation significantly easier, as the torques required for completing the shutoff process are sometimes very high.

In comparison with gate valves, globe valves offer

The standard version of globe valves

…offered by DRW Armaturen is the straight-seat version.  The valve features a through-way design and an external spindle thread.  As regards the gland packing material, you can choose between graphite,

PTFE or stainless steel/graphite.

A huge advantage of this design is that the gland packing can be readjusted at all times.  It goes without saying that all internal components, including the body material, can be designed according to your wishes.  We can implement almost any special requirement, whether it is regulating cones, position indicators, coated seats and cones, limit switches or other special wishes.
